Sorry, its been so long....

I can't believe how long it's been since I've blogged! 

So sorry faithful followers!! 

I really did think about you all every week and thought, "you need to blog Kierstyn", yeah well, that worked right?!

So, now I'm finally here writing to you! 

Most of the new products I've made will be coming to you in September, I want to introduce new things and remind you about last years fall items all at once! 

 Lately I have been working on my fair entries, baby girl items (because all of my family members are having girls!), and the new items that I've already mentioned that will be blogged about and for sale in September!  

I'm entering an apron, pair of fingerless gloves, and a hat! 

Don't worry, I will let you all know how  I do!  

I know so many people having girls right now!! 

I'm getting a little tired of pink, so I'm mixing it up with traditional neutral colors and then a bright girlie flower or scalloped edge!

New items in September will include aprons, hats, wallets, and more wonderful fun goodies!!

 

Fall Fassion from Kierstyn's Kreations

I know we just came into August but with school starting soon and the winds picking up around here, Fall is on my mind! 

I love the chilly mornings, blustery afternoons, and cool evenings that come with the changing of the seasons! 

It's the perfect time to add an extra layer or a warmer accessory to an outfit!

New To Kierstyn's Kreations: Napkin Rings

About a year ago I made napkins and napkin rings for my cousin. 

Ever since then I have been wanting to offer some of these adorable little beauties in my shop!

 It has taken me longer than I planned to get them to you but here they are and in four unique styles!!

Ebony Elegance

Ebony Elegance Scarves

 I bought a package of lovely yarn that is black with gold trim. 

This type of yarn makes the most beautiful scarves! 

I was showing the first one I'd made to someone and they ordered four of them! 

So, I've been busy filling her order. 

Soon though I will have one in my Etsy shop and I'll write a post so that you all will know. 

I call this scarf: Ebony Elegance

 

Family Decor

Family Tree

A very dear friend celebrated her wedding anniversary but her wonderful husband had passed. 

So, we wanted to give her a special gift that celebrated their marriage as well as blessed her. 

What better than a family tree?! 

My mom and I went shopping at Home Goods and found this silver tree, see picture. 

It is large enough for our friend to hang the pictures of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.  

Next we went to Michaels and found small picture frames in their jewelry section, as well as rings to attach the pictures to the tree. 

 This is a very simple gift but it is also very special. 

 Besides the tree, picture frames, and small rings you will need jewelry pliers and your personal photos.

Flower Pins

Recently, a friend told me she'd received several compliments on a crocheted flower pin I made for her. 

She said that if I gave her some, when people commented on how much they liked them, she'd tell them she had some to sell. 

I don't know how well they're selling but I had a lot of fun getting them ready!

Below are pictures of the process and the end result. 

I decided to cute cardboard into squares to give me a "foundation" as it were, to be my pin holder. Green material and grey felt were then selected to be glued over the cardboard. These made complimentary background covers. 

I had some fun making little price tags too!! 

There were papers, pens, and stencils all over the table!! 

Too much fun! 

 

 The end result!! So pretty!!

It was disgusting and unnecessary! 

I am sorry if it offended any one. 

I have tried to take the necessary measures to correct and block this from happening again.
