 I entered this blanket at the Santa Cruz County Fair earlier this month. 
 Saturday I took it to a wedding as my gift!

New Listing on Etsy

Cowboy Boots



Cowboy Boots are the perfect gift for the country-western little  person in your life!! 


Mocha (brown), Warm Brown, and Buff  are classic western color combinations; perfect for a girl or boy! Each boot has a "false heal" that makes them look like real boots! The boot decoration, done in warm brown, completes the western look.




This pair of Cowboy Boot was entered in the Santa Cruz County Fair and received a third place!! 
I am pleased at how well they did! There was some pretty good competition there!!

Shell Frame

Shell Frame

 Supplies:
A frame (any size)
Hot Glue Gun and Sticks
Various Sea Shells

 I love to make these for gifts! 
Many of my friends love the beach; so this gift is perfect!! 

All you do is decide where you want your shells and glue them on! Simple as that!! You can cover the frame in shells or just put a few on, whatever you like! 

Inexpensive and nice shells can be purchased at Dollar Tree, they also have decorative glass stones for floral arrangements that are pretty and add a slightly different look to the frame! 

Mix it up and make it personal! 

Mostly just relax, have fun, and enjoy!

Fall

Fall Is Upon Us


With the changing of the months comes a new season; Fall. I love Fall! 
The color changes, the spices, the decor, the fairs, holidays, family and friends gathering together! 
It's a wonderful time of year!! 

  
With the change of the seasons comes a change in crafting! Now scarves, fingerless gloves, warm socks, and the need for lovely home decor come into being!

My Fair Entries

Santa Cruz County Fair Entries


I got to go to the fair Wednesday evening with my parents. 

We had a really nice time and I was able to see how my entries did!
My cowboy boots didn't place but  the crocheted bright shells blanket got 3rd!!

Craft Room Update

Craft Room Update

I am blssed to share part of a room in my parent's home with Mom. We call it the craft room!! 
 I started out with a table and it has grown! 
As we have collected more craft things, we have changed things around.  
Here is a little update!! 

My brother painted this cabinet for us! 
It looks great now!! 
He's a pretty awesome guy that brother of mine!





 In the craft room and stuffed!! 
It's so nice to get lots of "little things" put away that clutter up things!!

Bright Shells Custom Blanket


 I learned this blanket pattern while staying with family in Washington. My great aunt has been crocheting for years so I was able to learn from an experienced crocheter!!

The blanket pictured above is the third one I have made as a wedding gift. It makes a beautiful, lasting memory for the couple! Colors are generally chosen from the couple's wedding colors, their college or high school colors, or their favorite sports team; colors that are special to them!

Blankets measure:
length: 88 inches
width: 52 inches

How to custom order the blanket:
Choose 5 colors; one main color, two stripe colors, and a center stripe color.







The pattern: 5 rows of main color, 5 inches of stripe 1, 5 in. main color, 5 in. stripe 2, 5 in. main color, 5 in. stripe 1, 5 in. main color, 4 in. center stripe, 5 in. main color, 5 in. strip 1, 5 in. main color, 5 in. stripe 2, 5 in. main color, 5 in. stripe 1, 5 in. main color.
